Having problems with Office 2007 Beta 2 Tech Refresh - tell people here

I have been asked by a few people how to share feedback with the Office team around problems they are having with the latest Office Beta.

The answer is to post an entry onto the community site http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx and then follow up on there to resolve it, or have it rolled up for Microsoft to look at.

That is it, simple ;-)

I would like to uninstall the beta version of Office 2007.

I have had difficulty using it. I do not find it user friendly. I cannot open files I have made.  They will not accept longer file names.

I want to go back to Office 1997.  Can I do that without jeopardizing my system?

Thanks,

Karen

Office should not do anything to impact your network connectivity.  I would look to something like your anti-virus software not being aware of Office and it shuting down the network or something else installed at a similar time.

thanks

Hi, David,

I just installed Office 2007 (I'm doing an HTML email project and the client is using Outlook 2007), and now have difficulties going to specific websites. Namely, the client's. I was able to 'curl' into it and got a 200 message (should be a-ok), but cannot get it to load in Firefox. Oh yes, whenever I log into Internet Explorer, the whole request moves over into Firefox without being asked to.

Can you offer any words of wisdom?

Beth
