We are upgrading to SBS2008 for our small business. A thought occurs to me about buying Office 2007 client software. If we buy clients with Infopath, can we use those forms directly, through Outlook and by browser with SBS2008? It includes Sharepoint, but am woindering if Sharepoint 2007 is required for the infopath full functionality. It would seem natural for small businesses to use forms based workflows to capitalize on Infopath. Any thoughts?

David,

You need a different version of SharePoint to make the web based forms server work, however you can make sharepoint forms store their data in WSS, but to update you will need InfoPath on the clients.

Thanks

David
