    Access 2003 Database corruption

    Hi all,

Has anyone come across this issue where an mdb gets corrupted if used on a machine running Vista ?

    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=935370

Not sure whether it only happens when more than one user access the file (on a Vista machine) or whether it happens when the mdb file is opened on an XP machine.

    Any thoughts / experiences..?

    Cheers

Why not simply phone up Microsoft and request the free fix that is documented in this KB article?

    thanks

The fix appears to deal with opening the database remotely whilst it is still open on another machine.

Hi,  Do you need to repair your database? There is a tool called Advanced Access Repair. I have used it to repair many corrupt Access files successfully. If necessary, you can have a try. Hope this still can help in the future.  Alan
